SEBASTIANI and DALLONA

Post by rwelgin1 »

I am looking for any assistance in finding more info on my Sebastiani and Dallona ancestors from the Palù di Giovo, Giovo, Trento, Italy region.

Brigida Dallon was the daughter of Pietro and was born about 1839
Domenico Sebastiani was the son of Domenico and Elisabetta Fidolagnoli and was born about 1838

Thank you

I see the birth years you have are earlier than the baptism records on microfilm. Only the death records may be of use to you, sorry. Not sure if there would be any other microfilms to help you.

Not sure there will be any records for your ancestors though in this database since it is Trentino and not your specific area.

I think the Trento Province, Trento Diocese Catholic Church records are ultimately going to be available on the family search beta website for free.

Wow, THANK YOU!!! The website www.natitrentino.mondotrentino.net was very helpful and packed with a LOT of new info that I touched on when I ordered the films from the LDS.
So, now I have learned that I am looking for these surnames from about 1790-1810 in the area of Palu di Giovo, Trento:

Sebastiani
Da Lona
Fidolagnoli
Trentini

I was not able to find the birth of one gr. gr grandmother on the site, but found a lot of info. I did not locate anything on the other sites.

I'm happy you found the Trentino website useful. Hopefully when the Trento baptism records are online, you will find the info you are searching for.
