Comune Won't Respond

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Comune Won't Respond

Post by dtamaf »

Hi all,

I am trying to acquire another copy of my great-grandfather's birth certificate from Castellabate. There is an online portal to request birth certificates, but it doesn't work. So I called the Comune and they gave me an email address to contact. After 5 emails, I haven't heard anything. Any advice on how to go about getting this birth certificate?

Many thanks in advance!

Try writing a letter requesting the document you need.
