Have you located any information on this family?
Did they immigrate? To where? Can you provide the relationships between these names? Were they married? To whom? Did they have children?
What were their names and dates of birth?

vincenzo sorbara was born 1889 in trapani italy dont know if he was married ,he came to the us when he was about 17 and was deported back to italy was not able to come back to the us anymore ,dont know if he was married or had children thanks,he was the son of carmello sorbara she was born in sicily italy in 1860 she came to the us and died in the us in 1920 she had two more sons raphael sorbara born 1893 and sam'same'sorbara unknown birth

There are 3 Vincenzo Sorbara who entered the USA in 1906 at NYC. One is born 1887, the toher 1882 and the third 1881. None are born 1889. Are you sure about the year of birth?? If you are sure he was born in 1889 then we have to go look for his arrival in Boston or Philadelphia or someother place. Please let us know. =Peter=

Here is a 17 year old Vincenzo Sobara who came in 1907, born in 1900. Take a look at the manifest and see if anything fits.

the person i need to know mor about is carmello sorbara born 1860 in sicily italy she came to the us and died here all i know is her birth and death date

There is no CarmelA (not O=male) Sorbara in www.ellisland.org website.. are you sure her name is Carmela?? =Peter=

So, possible Sorbara was her married name? As in Italy women keep their maiden name even if married, maybe she travelled under her maiden name, do you know which was?

Ralph and Sam were my Grandfathers Uncles. I believe they lived in West Virginia.

Carmela Sorbara nee Albanese was born in 1860 in San Giorgio Morgetto and came to the US approximately 1920. She lived in Covington Virginia and died in 1928. She was married to Domenico Antonio Sorbara. She had several children and possibly more. Raffaele Sorbara born 1883 (wife Mary Lipstrap), Angelo Domenico Sorbara (wife Rosaria Gebbia) 1887, Vincenzo Sorbara (wife Vincenza Fontana) approx 1889 Salvatore (Sam) Sorbara 1895, (not married) and Mary Vincenza Sorbara born 1900. (husband Joseph Bomarito)
