Last residence listed is Corleone; joining his brother Carmelo at 337 East 106th Street, New York City.

Travelling with his stepsister, Teresa Capitolino aged 22 (on line 25).

That is the wrong person. He said he arrived in New Orleans and this man landed in New York. Leoluca said he arrived 1899

As I said, possibly a second voyage; you would be surprised at the number of our ancestors who made two or more crossings.

Anyway, do you have any additional information at all to help us locate other records? Did he reside in New Orleans? Wife's name? Approximate birth year for Leoluca and for his wife? Any children (names/birth years)?

Leoluca married Lucia Cutrone in Morgan City on July 22, 1905. That's one way I knew the person was not the same one. He states on his naturalization papers that he arrived on October 25, 1899 to New Orleans. I have recently learned that the original name was Leoluca La Rizza and apparently was changed to Rizzo at some point, of which I have no clue. His birthplace is Corleone and he was born December 16, 1880. His children were Rosario, Giovanna, Angelina, Lena, Frank, Carmela, Camille. Some were born in Morgan City and some in Los Angeles, where he moved around 1910. His father was Francesco La Rizza and his mother was Nicolina Saporito.

That's about all I have on him.

That's a heck of a lot more than most people have. :)

I don't suppose you have found naturalization info, have you?

Also, do you have an approximate year of birth for Lucia Cutrone?

Do I understand that you are specifically looking for the Certificate of Arrival? Looking at Lucia's manifest, I see numeric notations beside her name which indicate that a Certificate of Arrival was issued for her.

I see no such notations on Leoluca's manifest; a very strong indication that one was not issued for him.

Where did you obtain the naturalization papers?

I got his naturalization papers from the National Archives. Lucia came with her family when she was a child.
