I am looking for family members of my grandparents and beyond that may still live in Italy. My grandparents names were Antonio Dascenzo (also spelled D'Ascenzo, D'ascenzo, Ascenzo, Ascentii) and Genoveffa Lucantonio...both were from Fontavignone, Rocca DiMezzo, L'Aquila, Abruzzo, Italy. Their families must have been prominent in the area as their lines cross a number of times. I am particularly looking for any family pictures or family history that any family still living there may wish to share. I would be happy to share what happened after they immigrated to the US in about 1922. My grandfather fought on behalf of the US in France during WWI and my grandmothers brothers also served in the Italian (I think) service. My grandmothers brothers did not immigrate to the US, so I am sure there are still distant family members there. Can anyone help me? Thank you, again, Marty!! I am also looking for my grandmother Genoveffa Lucantonio's brothers and sisters information. I am having difficulty looking up some further info for them, and you seem to know your way around these sites. Their names are Settimio Lucantonio (I think born around 1895) married to Lucia Del Gusto with a daughter of Carolina Lucantonio (1911-1958), brother Quirino (Guerrino) Lucantonio married to Gianna ? with sons Lucian and Gabriel (it is possible that Gabriel had a twin sister, Rene, who may have died young), and Giosue Lucantonio. She also had two sisters who died young. Celeste Anatolia Lucantonio (guessing 10 July 1896 - 15 Sept 1898), and Maria Giuseppa Lucantonio (guessing 7 June, 1894 - 22 July 1897). Can you help me with any of their info? I appreciate your expertise.
