Notation in the margin first :D
This refers to a correction of the mother’s given name to Clotilde, not Matilde as written in the record erroneously.

Appearing was Giuseppe Morello, 28, sailor residing in Augusta, to declare that at 1:07 on the 12th of the current month …at Via Xifania(?) to Matilde [corrected by Tribunale notation to Clotilde] Foresta, not married, and appearing here to be present at this declaration, was born a female child who was given the name DOMENICA [Morello]

Side notation:
On 11 July 1928 in August, Domenico married with Domenica Morello.

Witnesses to the record: Sebastiano Tringali, 50, sailor, and Giuseppe Gianino, 60, sailor, both residing in this town.

Notations:

First, by official sentence of the Civile Tribunale, dated 14 May, 1918, the name of the mother of Michele Morello was corrected to Clotilde.

Second, on 14 June 1936, in Augusta, he married Rosa Trovato, daughter of Paolo.

it had giuseppe morello's marriage to clotilde florista in 1920

went to family search and found it
