As Llivio :D stated above, Clotilde was a foundling.
Here is her birth record from Catania in 1874, dated 3 March.
It appears she was found at the Orphan Home on the 2nd, and presented to the official on the 3rd.
There is a notation of her marriage to Giuseppe Morello (of deceased Salvatore) on 12 Dec 1920
AND... it looks like her surname is FORESTA not Floresta on her Birth Act. The Clerk in Augusta misspelled it. :?

i'm having a problem with #24
Francesca Fazio

if she was born in 1865 and her daughter domenica bramanti was born around 1878 that would make francesca eleven years old

Having trouble accessing familysearch... they are having some techinical difficulties right now.
Will get parents' names when they are up again. However, in the notation of marriage that I mentioned above, it states that Giuseppe Morello was the son of deceased Salvatore...
Finding Salvatore's death (before 1920) should provide his wife's name.

EDIT TO ADD:

On marriage record...
Giuseppe's parents are listed as "deceased Salvatore, and deceased Domenica Brancato
Giuseppe is single, age 39, sailor residing in Augusta.

As to Francesca Fazio and daughter, Domenica Bramanti. The ages in these records (especially the death records) can be off by several years. If you can find the birth record for Francesca, it might shed some light on her actual year of birth :-)

EDIT TO ADD:
Just to demonstrate the "fluidity" of these ages in records...
In the birth record of 1895 for Domenico ... Mother - Domenica Bramanti's age is given as 26...
That would make her born about 1869/1870... When her mother was 8?!!?
It is my belief that the age for Francesca Fazio in her death record is incorrect. You should try to locate her birth act.

thank you tessa

i couldn't look up much yesterday due to hurricane arthur

what i've been looking for is giovanni passanisi's parents

i figure he was born around 1875 - married around 1899 - and definitely died after 1942

he had a son gaetano born in 1903 so i figured giovanni's father's name was gaetano

just started going through the marriages starting 1900 to see if there were any passanisi's that had a father named gaetano

i just found this one

#41

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/T ... ,361803501

i never expected to find this one

please translate

thanks
