why can't i find a marriage?

on francesco mancuso's birth record on december 15, 1883, in magisano, catanzaro, there is a notation that he married giuseppa angela mastria in magisano, on december 31, 1905

i checked those pages and can't find it

why?

I ran into the same problem in a different town recently. There was a marginal note on a birth record for a marriage in the same town a couple of decades later, but no marriage record for the people in question at all, in that year or any other year for more than 10 years in either direction. I'm still not sure what happened, but one obvious solution may be that whoever filled in that marginal note made a mistake.

Hi the 1905 marriage records

are just abt San Pietro di Magisano that is a hamlet of Magisano.. the marriage records are on 3 different registries: Magisano, Vincolise( hamlet) and San Pietro di Magisano (hamlet).. for year 1905 just are available the San Pietro di Magisano marriage records....
