i just uploaded some images of an 1803 marriage record.lapio avellino for giovanni ricca and rosa martino.its a church record.i've scrutinized ir it over and over.its extremely hard to decipher.i'm trying to see if it contains the names of the brides parents.it doesnt appear to,as its very short and unlike the civil records which didn't exist at this time.it starts about a third of the way down from the top.can't seem to post the images on this site-and anyways there are about 10 copies i took in order to try and get the best one possible-so there would be too many to post here.if theres anyone out there good at deciphering virtual hieroglyphics and want to give it a try,let me know.i'll send you the downloads as attachments so you can give it a shot.just need your email address.thank you.
