Natale Palazzolo & Siblings.

To whoever can help me:

My grandparents are Natale Palazzolo & Josephine Palazzolo. (Her maiden name was Palazzolo too).

Natale was born on September 8th, 1902. He died in 1968
Josephine was born on January 18th, 1903. She died in 1983.

It is believed that Natale Palazzolo & Josephine Palazzolo not only married each other, but they were cousins too.
I know that Josephine had a few sisters & 2 brothers, but none of them are alive anymore and no descendents of any of them are able to officially prove that belief.

It is believe that Natale’s father & Josephine’s father were brothers.

Josephine’s parents were Girolamo Palazzolo & Lucrezia Giacona.

It is believed that Natale’s parents were Vito Palazzolo & Pietra Iacona.

It is known that Natale came to the United States (New York area on December 23, 1919).
He came from Palermo, Italy.

Natale’s immigration record states that he was born in Sicily, Cinsi, Palermo, Italy.

It is known that Natale had 9 other siblings. However, with the exception of 1 siblings, little to nothing is known about them .

The siblings names and what is currently known about them are as follows:


Domencio Palazzolo – He was Born on January 9th , 1914. Died on May, 25, 1996. He married Rosina Emiliani (1921-2012). Their one daughter does not know anymore than I do. She’s hoping this will also help not only me in my research but her too. He was born in Cinsi, Sicily, Italy.

Vito Palazzolo

Salvatore Palazzolo

Pietra Palazzolo

Nicolina Palazzolo – It is known that she married Rosario Curcuru. There are no known children.

Maurino “Mario” Palazzolo

Maria Palazzolo

Giuseppina Palazzolo

& Scolastica Palazzolo – It is known that she married into the Iacopelli family line.
We believe her husbands name was Leonardo Iacopelli.
She definitely had a son named Joseph Andrea Iacopeli who was born on 3 June 1921 in where we believe to be Sicily, Salerno, Campania, Italy.
Joseph died on February 4th, 1999.
