i've been trying to find the death record of my 2nd gg rosa martino,who i believe died in luogosano between 1862 and 1865.her husband giovanni ricca died in luogosano in 1849.she was living in 1852 and deceased by 1884.i personally consulted all the years in between and found nothing.the only missing years were 1862,1863,and 1865.unfortunately those very years are missing in both the civil records office and state archives.possibly never recorded or by some strange coincidence these records were lost in both locations.hard to believe.also contacted the parish of s.maria maggiore e s.marcellino and the diocese of avellino with no results.seem to have covered it all.if anyone out there familiar with records in avellino is aware of any alternate records that i might not be aware of let me know.most appreciated.
