Re: Please translate
Marty, I think "husband of" should be changed to married because this is supposed to be a marriage record. My real concern were the last three words - "e di Giovanna". Most of the other marriage records I have follow the husband's name with "e" for "and", not "e di" which I think would be "and of". The Geneologist who sent it to me is not good with English but said that e and e di have different meanings, but he could not explain it with Google Translate.

Re: Please translate
Rosa Greco was the daughter of "deceased" Francesco and of (living) Giovanna
Re: Please translate
The record doesn't indicate what Giovanna's surname was. Perhaps she was a foundling and had no surname. (Or her given name is missing and her surname is Di Giovanna, a common one for Agrigento.) The marriage date was 7 Jan 1776.

Re: Please translate
this document is dated 18 Sept 1735, not 7 Jan 1776 as expectedrp76226 wrote:Here's the link to the original:

Re: Please translate
I confirm: Rosa Greco, the bride, was the daughter of "deceased" Francesco and of "living" Giovanna
