I am searching for family members in Cosenza of Francesca DeMarco, born 4 March 1888 and married 1906 to Francesco Sturino. She emigrated to the U.S. in 1919 but had brothers and sisters in LaCavarta. Her father was Salvatore and she had a brother, Michael and 2 other brothers and 3 sister in Italy. Could some one point me the way to find these family members. Thank you.
Yes, the her husband was born in Rende but I was reading though her obit again and it stated she was born in LaCavarta and her surviving brother lived there. This obit was from 1977. I though maybe I was wrong in thinking the DeMarcos were from Rende. Is there still an archives that will send family group from Rende. I am interested in her brothers and sisters. In particular a Concetta DeMarco born about 1892.
I think she was born in Arcavacata a suburb of Rende so the records are held in the town of Rende
The online records of Rende are limited so I would rent the Family History Library microfilms of Rende that can be viewed and copied at a FHL center near you
Registri dello stato civile di Rende (Cosenza), 1809-1910 Births, marriages, banns, marriage documents, deaths including indexes I would start with the
Nati (births) 1876-1900 film#1640537

Family History Center doesn't seem to have a film of births after 1910 available. would the Ufficio dello Stato Civile have those?
They should have births after 1910...
