I am looking for any information that you can give me on my great grandparents. Tony and Laura (Mandirra/Mandina) Lewis/Aloisio. They were married in Italy and immigrated to Louisiana in 1891. Tony was born in 1861 and Laura was born in 1869 their headstone says they were born in Sicilia, Italy. Their residence in 1940 was Bossier City and in 1945 Laura died in Shreveport. Tony died in 1957, also in Shreveport. They are both buried in St. Joseph Cemetery in Shreveport, LA. The children I know of are Rosa, Josephine and Mary.
Their daughter Rosa is my paternal grandmother she married Dominick Digilormo/Digirolamo born Aug 15, 1877 in Salaparuta, Sicily, Italy. They married in Louisiana in 1902
