Moretti family

As a nation state, Italy has emerged only in 1871. Until then the country was politically divided into a large number of independant cities, provinces and islands. The currently available evidences point out to a dominant Etruscan, Greek and Roman cultural influence on today's Italians.

Moretti family

Post by Jean Galata »

Can anyone tell me if any member of the Moretti Family, formerly of Via Canova 10 in Rovigo Italy, still lives in Italy.
A relative is visiting Italy in September and would like to meet with a family member.
Any information on the family would be helpful.
Thank you.

Phone them, and ask.
The other way is to do the research and try to locate the area they lived in in order to narrow down the search if the name is numerous.
Many Italians today do not have a land line and can't be located in the white pages.
