Need help with translating letter from 1976

I have a letter I found in my attic addressed to me but written in Italian. I do not know the contents of this letter and was wondering if someone could help me understand what is written here. Below is the letter I found. Thank you.

The recipient is requested to immediately send the same letter to 20 people otherwise the bad luck will fall on him. Examples of bad things happened to people that did not send the letter follow...

It was such a goood time when people had to spend a lot of time to write down all this bull**** and could not just copy, paste and email!
