Hi Scott,
these are the communications between the Mayor and the Parson,
the first telling that on Jan 15th, 1832 at 5pm a baby was born, named Maria Vincenza Bondì (?) daughter of Onofrio and Maria Martina (?), and asking to send it back with the annotation of day of baptism;
the second is the answer from the Parson, stating she was baptized on the same day.

Pippo, the surname is Merlina (although the surname Martina also exists in the town). I am glad you explained what the document is about because I didn't completely understand it when I saw it last week when Scott first posted it. I felt it was a transcription of the original birth record.

It was not so hard for me Scott because I am quite familiar with your surnames now, plus I have translated this for you last week on another thread but didn't completely understand what it was. I very much appreciate Pippo's clarification. :D :D
