i would appreciate a second set of eyes for deceased's first name.....from the name in the column and on the act itself, it appears to be Genseffa.....what do you think?

That is what it looks like and the name does seem to exist? I had not heard this name before.

I read Genoeffa, a variation of Genoveffa.

Yes, you are correct. That is exactly what I read.........now. I always get thrown when I see two vowels together.

angela...there are many names in this town i have not come across before!

livio, i would have never figured that to be a 'v'....

And you were correct, there is no "V".

the name is written Genoeffa. :D
