Looks like "assisto per ciò" - but hard to tell with so much bleed-through. :-(

My thoughts are that the parents were deceased and the groom was assisted for this by Giacomo Raimo, 65, who was his grandfather (suo avo???) who was present to give his consent.

Tesssa, you are correct, the sentence reads:

"...Figlio di Giuseppe Sarno e Rosaria Rajmo morti come dagli atti, assistito perciò da Giacomo Eajmo suo avo (grandfather)..."

I thank you both for the original language and the translation - both are very helpful. i knew the parents were deceased and that Giacomo gave consent, i just couldn't figure out the words in between.
