Why is the same marriage appearing in two church (Latin) documents for Racalmuto? Here are the links:

One Marriage - Two Church Documents - Same Comune
Re: One Marriage - Two Church Documents - Same Comune
I really can't say why there are two records for the same marriage. I see only minor differences between the two documents. In the one, the banns of marriage were on March 25th, 30th, and the 7th of April. The groom's name is Carolus and his surname Puma. In the other record, the banns were on March 25th, 31st, and April 7th. The groom's name appears as Carlo Puma Pagliarello. Otherwise all of the information in the two records appears to be the same, including the witnesses' names. It probably was just a clerical error that the marriage was recorded in duplicate.

One document is in Italian and the other is in Latin. In the Italian one the priest's name is missing.
