Translation of birth record

Post by slidellsweetie88 »

I am very new at translating records, but I think I am starting to get a little bit of it, can confirm what I think i have correctly: Ignazio Spinnato and Filippa Faraci had a baby named Anna on 20 Aug 1905? I can' t read the rest of the document.

This is a baptism record and states that the priest, Andrea Davani, baptized a female child born yesterday [ieri] in Monte to Ignazio Spinnato and to Filippa Faraci, a married couple from Monreale.
The record is dated 20 August 1905, so the birth was 19 August 1905 :-)
The child was given the name Anna
The godparents appear to be Salvatore Campanella and Filippa Ribaudo, married couple.
