Great question Dolores In this record I read Evangelista. I've just checked a list I have for male Italian Christian names and it can be spelt either way. Have a lovely day.dmurphy1940 wrote:Angela, do you think EvangelistA should be EvangelistO?

All good. I know what you mean. It means Evangelist - one who brings good news or shares the Gospel of Christ. Evangelisto doesn't seem to mean anything that I can find.

Evangelista is used both for males and females. Evangelisto sounds more dialectal.
