Hello,
I'm having some difficulty in researching records from Colliano, Italy. Was it always called Colliano or did it have another name? Is there a larger town nearby where vital records might have been recorded? Thanks in advance for your help!
Regards,
Anthony

Re: Colliano, Italy
Colliano is a comune and that means its an administrative town with archived records. The e-mail address for making a request for records is collianodemo@libero.it and you can make a request with a form letter at www.circolocalabrese.org. Its free of charge just include self addressed envelope and wait 4-8 weeks. It's nice to have a document from Colliano to pass on to your family. Peter

Anthony go to the library and borrow the book Italian Genealogical Records by Trafford R.Cole which is a superb and easy reading book which may entice you to Italian genealogy. Peter
