In this marriage record from Ribera in Sicily there is an extract from a marriage record from Nave in Brescia (Lombardia). In that record there is a place name, written 4 times, 3 on the right side and 1 on the left, that looks like "Cancesia." I'm guessing that the place was actually Concesio (another comune in Brescia) and the official in Ribera who copied the record from Nave misread it. The 2 letter a's, especially the last one, are very distinct and don't resemble o's in other words on the page. Or does anyone think that the place was not Concesio but somewhere else, and if so, where? Thanks.

Sometimes I wanted to try something new. But never had a chance yet.
