Can someone tell me what 4+4, or 6+6, 3+3 means when referencing the type of contract the rental is? I've been researching apartments online and see this quite a bit. I did finally see one ad that said 4+4 Anni - so does it mean 4+4 years for a total of 8?
Thanks in advance!

Apartment Rental Contracts in Italy
Re: Apartment Rental Contracts in Italy
Yes, it does.
It means that the contract is automatically renewed for 4 more years, unless the owner of the apartment has "very good reasons" to cancel it.
