Can someone recommend websites for Irish genealogy? Looking to find what county my husbands side of the family came from. The Shepherd's and McMahon's have a long history of living on the lower west side of Manhattan and there are sooooooooooooo many named John and Mary. I've considered hiring someone to help but I really want to find it myself with assistance from others.
