I also have the name of the groom but no other information. The family had moved to Rome by WWII. I have no idea where the couple were married, but will g...

Re: translation of marriage?

Thank you so much. I know you're not a doctor but have you ever heard of this disease before? I wonder if it would be a temporary ailment or chronic. And I wonder if it would preclude them from traveling and having children. Thanks again. Donnars11

Re: Death record

I remember when I recorded her death record I think I assumed that she'd married Riccardelli and he'd died too. So she died after 2 husbands and somehow I didn't pick up the 2nd marriage. But it's all good then. Nothing I need to change. Thanks.

Re: Second marriage?

Interesting. I wonder how many other marriages I recorded that didn't take place. This couple had no children so that helps support your theory. I suppose I should go back and check out all the childless marriages and see if those couples really ever did get married. Thank you so much for that infor...

Re: Second marriage?

Thank you all for your responses. Yes this "second Marriage" is in 1869. I've included in this post the actual marriage record for the "first marriage" in 1865. Notice that Giuseppe's mother is written as Marianna however in the Prossesseti it shows as Mariangela. Perhaps this is...

Second marriage?

Hi, can anyone read item 2 and 3 below (Image 8 and 10) for any mention of Giuseppe's first wife's death. I included the birth record to prove that this Giuseppe is the same Giuseppe in both cases. I've looked through each death record from the date of the first marriage (7/31/1865) until the date o...
