Birth Act for Anna Filomena Tedesco 1864

I was able to obtain a photo of Anna's birth Record.

I believe it states she was born 10 August 1864, to Giovanni Tedesco, 22 yo, and Maria Giuseppa Colozzi, 21 yo.
I'm having trouble deciphering Giovanni's father's name and the couple of lines after Maria's age.
Can someone make these out?

Re: Italian Christmas Cookies

@ jennabet; My family is either from Teramo or Caserta that I can trace. I believe my great grand mother is from Basilicata but there is no definitive proof. @BrownEyedGirl; The only recipe I have on hand is the Walnut Pepper Cookies, the others I get if you'd like from my aunt. Walnut Black Pepper ...

Re: Italian Christmas Cookies

My mother made ricotta cookies flavored with some type of citrus.
Staples at any holiday were walnut pepper cookies and wine and pepper biscuits.

Re: Military Records from Terra Di Lavoro

I have the estratto dai registri degli atti di nascita so no date. And if it were reconstructed, could a family member have done it? My grandfather was in the USA by the time of WW2. I'm not sure when Monticelli was incorporated into Esperia. Now, I believe that it is called Delegazione Monticelli. ...

Re: Military Records from Terra Di Lavoro

He left Italy in 1930 and was born in 1900.
We have a half dozen photos while is was in the military and he told us about it.

The Archives searched from 1880 to 1920 (birth year), according to their reply, but no matches.

Re: Military Records from Terra Di Lavoro

Thanks for the replies.

I tried Frosinone but they have nothing pertaining to him.
So I figured since it was Caserta at the time I might try there.
This was for WW1

Nicola Celso - 25 December 1888-30 December 1955

I believe I have exhausted my capabilities on locating anymore information about Nicola. He arrived to Ellis Island on 29 April 1907, from Marsala with a destination of 36 Minor St., New Haven, CT. Married Maria Concetta Scavone (born 1896) in July of 1912, location unknown. He has 7 children and na...

Re: Changing Your Name

Nancy,

My maternal cousin changed his name. His grandfather had the name Grossi but naturalized as Gross.
He went back to Grossi about 2-3 years ago. His reason was that he was moving to Italy.
