Translation of marriage Antonino Orlando and Fortunata Villa

Post by lilbees »

I believe this is the son of Antonino Orlando and Cosima Campagna.

Can someone translate this one for me. It starts at

This is the first publication of the marriage

Re: Translation of marriage Antonino Orlando and Fortunata V

Act #7 February 2nd, 1874
The wedding was celebrated in the house of Cosima Campagna.
Antonino was born in Termini in 1853, son of Cosima Campagna, and was adopted by Antonino Orlando on February 10th, 1859 (if I remember, this was before Cosima and Antonino's marriage).
Fortunata Villa was born in Palermo in 1850, daughter of Pietro and Maria Amalia Villa, both deceased.
From the publications, Antonino turns out tho have been born on December 3rd, 1853, and Fortunata on October 24th, 1850.
It would be interesting to fing the "Allegati", there should be the adoption act.
Now, the questions is: was Antonino Campagna the natural son of Antonino Orlando, born out of his previous marriage?

Thank you Pippo. I did go through the allegati and only found what I believe is the birth record. It was in the 1876 allegati. Only found it by accident.

I believe this Antonino was in fact the actual son of the elder Antonino.
