Re: Calvello Family from Marsiconuovo, Italy

fmrfabby1,

Also you say that a Rosaria was raised by the Pepe/Pepo family. I seriously doubt that, since I have found Annunziato Pepe/Pepo in the 1900, 1905, 1910, 1920, and 1930 censuses, and there was no Rosaria, Rose, or any similarly named person listed as living with the family in any of ...

Hello Nat,

Nice to hear from you. I have corrected the info on my tree and we have found Grandfather Joseph's grave. We visited there and took photos. You were right about there not being a headstone. It is just a stone that lays flat on the ground. Thanks again for the info.

Re: Borsenna (Borsina, Borsini), Miceli, Anzalone

Hi Tessa,
Wow, you found a lot of info! Yes , we believe Eduarda is Giuseppe Borsina’s sister. I have an obit that has her as a Frank Anzalone’s wife. It states that her name was Eduarda”Jenny” Borsina Anzalone. I found it in her son Thomas’s obit on Genealogy Bank.
Also, the Family Tree for Joseph ...

Re: Borsenna (Borsina, Borsini), Miceli, Anzalone

Tessa & suanj,
Just wondering why is Michele's last name different than his daughter Eduarda? Also what is the English translation of Calogera? I am a bit confused. Is Michele Borsemi the same person as Michele Porsenno Esposto? I thought Esposto meant married. From the looks of these documents ...

Re: Borsenna (Borsina, Borsini), Miceli, Anzalone

Thanks Tessa!
I have heard that Borsina does not exist as a surname in Italy.
I could only get the second page on The familysearch.com site.
