Re: Translation help please!! Italian birth records....

I sat here last night and tried to decipher these documents one sloppy word at a time and I'm telling you its not fun. Nor did I get anywhere. If I didn't spell the work correctly I recieved no response from the program. I found that quite amusing as I actually expected a machine to know better ...

Re: Translation help please!! Italian birth records....

Livio,

Thanks so much for your help, there isn't enough info available for me to determine if these are related. The 1852 marriage was the ONE I was really hoping for and seems to be the most unreadable. Again thanks for your time.......Jodi

Translation help please!! Italian birth records....

I have several birth records that I zeroxed from a LDS film. I have had several people, including an elderly couple from Italy try to translate them for me with no luck. Any help would be greatly apprecaited. They seem to think the records might be in Latin or really old Italian. Approx 1850 & 1885 ...

Re: Transcription of Pass. Manifest needed.

Thank you.......JCSM. Been working on this branch most of the day. Still excited about the manifest. I also found the 1902 manifest for Carmelo and noticed that there were 2 men travelling with him by the last name of PENDOLFO. If might be possible that these men were Maria Pendolfos brothers. What ...
