Help with a letter in Italian

Just received a letter from Sicily. I tried to translate it but most of the words were not recognized.Please help!

rispondo alla Sua lettera, cumunicandoLe che, effettuate le ricerche anagrafiche, risulta che non siamo parenti stretti anche se portiamo lo stesso cognome.
Mi sono, pero', impegnato a cercare i suoi parenti, che hanno gia' provveduto a contattarLa.
Mi farebbe, comunque, piacere conoscerLa, qualora Lei venisse in Sicilia.
