I’ve heard about a 3 year visa for people who have grandparents of Italian
Decent . If this is correct , what is the name of this visa and what are the
Qualifications , restrictions , limits etc. on this visa and can one aquire
Italian citizenship after the 3 years ?

hi, I am also trying to get records of my greatgrand parents moving from italy to south africa in the early 1900's . Hav'nt had any luck as such but there must have been quite a lot of italians that moved to south africa , just by looking at the italian societies and the club in rugby,cape town .

i have the following text on a baptism certificate (1864) not very clear
but looks like "e sono stati imposti li nomi andrea giacomo vincenzo"
i suspect that it states the intended name for the infant .
any help in translating would be greatly appreciated
