Re: Should I be optimistic?
Ask -a-l-w-a-y-s- a 'fotocopia dell'atto integrale di nascita / matrimonio / morte per ricerca storica sulla mia famiglia'. The price is the same (1,50 Euro).
It's better than 'in carta semplice'. There are always interesting notations on them. So, try again...
They take a lot of time even here ...

Re: Where's Nofalle Italia?
As you said Pedro is surely Pietro.
For Filomena i think Sposeta is instead of (probably) Esposito.
Fedaldi sounds really strange to me.
Do you may be have any scanned documents of them ?

PEGLI and MULTEDO, Genova, Italia
PEGLI (Pegi in dialect) is a part of Genova (Genoa) in northern part of ITALY.
Before 1926 it was completely indipendent from Genova.
NOW is a part of this town as 'Genova-Pegli' or 'Ge-Pegli'.
The same for MULTEDO.

Re: Sicari
may be it's not Longa Bardi BUT 'Lombardia' (a northern region of Italy, not a town).
SICARI is often an southern family name.
saluti!
