My mother and and all four grandparents were born in Italy, emigrated to the US, and then gave up their Italian citizenships to become US citizens before I was born. Do any of you know if there is any mechanism for me to apply for Italain citizenship based upon ancestry even though mother/relatives ...

I am wondering if anyone can help...Looking for information on my grandparents.

One side came from Cervicatti, Calabria outside of Cosenza. My grandfather Oresto Nico, dont know when he first came over, and my grandmother, Letezia Damiano, who came over around 1920.
