Antonina Calasebetta- Real Last name or Region of Sicily?

I am researching my maternal grandfather side at the moment. My person of interest is Maria LaMonica who came form Sicily. He spouse is Antonio (Antonino) Messineo and they got married Aug 6, 1921 in Manhattan. Story goes Maria was sent away to America from Sicily to marry Antonio who had made a life for himself in America. They had an arranged marriage.

Antonina Calasebetta is Maria LaMonica's mother. Her father, spouse of Antonina, is Giovanni.

I would like to know is this actually their last name, Calasebetta, or is that where they came from in Sicily? I know there is a Calasibetta in Sicily which makes me wonder. Maria's parents never immigrated, they stayed in Italy as far as I know.

The correct spelling is probably Calasciabetta,
found in Sicily...
In Palermo, Caltanissetta, Agrigento, Enna, and Trapani Provinces...
Seems to be primarily in Palermo Province.
