Marty,
I looked at it again, and asked family and friends for their opinion, including a friend from Italy. I came to the conclusion that another possible interpretation of the text is "Figlio Agrigento".

Was Agrigento ever a name for baby boys?

Marty,

Vincenzo's father was Guglielmo

They thought Ninfa's father was either Filippo or Pietro, and you thought he was Pharao.

Have you had any luck finding the Baptism of Vincenzo Carrozza?

Wow!
Thanks!

Does this mean Guglielmo Carrozza was almost certainly born in the 1590s?

Do records for the marriage of Pietro and Lauria Carrozza exist, or is that too early?

Marty,
Familysearch indicates that records for Monreale go bakk to 1513. Therefore, the marriage of Nicola and Constanza Carrozza, and possibly the marriages of their parents, should be documented. I looked through the scans of the early church books, though, and I could not make heads nor tails of them. Do they have indexes in the front like the later records do?

I tried again to read the books but I just couldn't

I did find these indexes, though, do you know if they are useful?
