Antonio was probably in Italy at the time the 1920 census was taken based on the 1920 manifest.

That makes sense !
Perhaps the Pirozzi/Vangone family were joining them temporarily
in 1898 at 521 E 114th, Maria Vangone (dressmaker), a cousin?

Just rechecked the 1898 manifest for Pirozzi/Vangone Valarie posted and found that Filomena (Fanny on the 1900 census?) Patri from Boscoreale was travelling with them.

"My Great Grandfather was born in Boscoreale, Italy he was born between 1867 to 1869. He came to the United States with his wife Maria Vangone around 1895 -96.
He lived in Manhattan when he came to the states. He was a stone cutter.
I am trying to find information on if he had any brothers or sisters. I know his parents stayed in Boscoreale. When he came to the United States his last name changed and became Pirozzo. I had heard from stories some of his family kept the last name Pirozzi.

Maria Vangone's fathers name was Simone. He stayed in Boscoreale.
I am looking for any family members that still live in Italy or had moved to the United states
