i am looking for luigi landi if this was his name he came to england with a travelling circus so the story goes can any one tell me if there would be any way of knowing if he came by boat if there is a listing 1847 i have come to a stand still thanks

Can't help you there but if you go to www.familysearch.org and use LUIGI Landi there are many references to that name and surname in Italy aorund the dates you mention but no references to Landi in England since they all appeared to become LANDY. Peter
