Hi

Following Jcsm's idea, and just in case she was in the UK, I tried the British Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority for a drivers license, but they will not supply this kind of info. A very kind man there did suggest however that the Salvation Army Family Tracing Service might be able to help as they have a presence in all of the countries where Gertrude has lived, and are very experienced in this kind of search.

Hi all;

this is the e-mail address that I got today from Missing you UK. am told that they didn't keep IP addresses back in 2000.

don't know where to start looking but will attempt to find servers with this "reno" in their address.

The Salvation army is a great idea though everything has to be snail mail as they don't do e-mailings.

I think Kolsch is a German name which is quite unusual in the States. There seem to be a few in Wisconsin and New York. Might be worth looking at that name too if the Gertrude doesn't turn out to be the right one.

The last listing really interesting, because I found obituary listing for a Gertrude Egan, ??/??/2001 in AR (sorry sould have wrote it down, will try & find again).

Gertrude Egan in AR 2001,was originally from Chicago and was a school teacher there for 35 years from 1943..til she retired and moved in 1978....wrong one but thanks.

These Kolschs from NY look interesting maybe a friend or maybe child of gertrude???
