Salvador Simone Sr married Josephine Rizzo, who was born in 1839 in Cefalu. I've seen submitted trees having her as daughter of Antonio Rizzo [1810 Calabria - Nov 1873 Cosenza] and Antonia Pellegrini [1814 Calabria - 1891 New Orleans, LA]. Josephine Rizzo Simone was enumerated in 1930 US census in New Orleans, LA and died 24 Nov 1933 there.
