and father as Luigi Mortali. I found them on Castlegarden as Maria and Luigi Mortali (immigration 1886). I am trying to locate where they are from in Italy??

Please provide children names & approx. year of birth. Do you have any idea as to what state/states they lived in? Where they died? When?....If we can find them on census records, it will provide information on Luigi being naturalized or not. If he was, then his naturalization papers may provide town of origin.

I think, but am not sure that is the correct manifest. I do not know where they lived between 1886 and 1909. They may have lived in Illinois
I do know from 1910 on they lived in Boston on North Street. They changed there name to Louis and Mary in 1920. I have a birthdate for Luigi of 1856 and Maria 1867 Their children's name were Frank, Fred, Nora, John, Alfred, Eugenio, Desolina and Geoeffa
I do not know when and where luigi died. (probably Boston) I do not know if he was naturalized.
