looking for surname guerra

trying to find any information on duvilio (duvillio??) guerra. was born in 1881. wife's name was maria born 1879. was supposed to have come through Ellis Island around 1913 but I can not find anything.

Duvilio does not appear toi be correct but there are 2 other Dante Guerra who meet the age requirement aged 34 and 36. One is from Sicily and the other is from the mainland Italy. Can you furnish any province or his wife's maiden name since all italian woman retain their single name and only the children take the fathers surname. In Italy all records and history is in the town of origin. Peter

hi : in italian, exact spelling first name is DUILIO...regards suanj

There is no Duilio Guerra in the ellisisland database so that may mean he entered the uSA thru a port in the USA other than NYC. So go to www.genealogylookups.com/narchives.htm and file form 81 with NARA which covers all passengers thru all ports coming into the USA. Peter

Thank you for your help. I did find my grandfather who came over through ellis island. 4-10-1913 under the name of eugenio guerra.
it said place of residence was Fano, Italy. he was 7yrs old. port of departure was genoa, liguria, Italy. I will check the site that you listed.
