Arberesh surnames

Post by sentola »

I have some Arberesh surnames in my heritage (over 4 or 5 generations back). I would like to know what they originally were before they were Italianized--if possible. Unfortunately, the Arberesh board is closed, so I am hoping someone here would be able to help me.
Some of the surnames that occur in my pedigree are: Matranga, Geraci, Guidera, Filpi, Zuccaro, Pizzuto, Ficarrotta, Renda, Dorangricchia, Ceffalia, Di Carlo.

Thank you for any guidance!
