Family Conte - Birth Records

Hey people, how are you all?

I've being trying to find my great-grandfather (The Italian) birth record for a couple of years. My family doesn't have any idea from where he is.

My grandfather that passed away almost 15 years ago once he told my father that his grand grandfather was from Naples. But, where?

We have a lot of documents that says that he comes from Italy, but not specific where.

Here's a timeline from me until my great-grandfather. But first, a little information about him:

After he arrived in Brazil, he changed his name to: Miguel Conti.

We know that he changed from Michele or Michelle to Miguel and Conte to Conti.

He was born in 29th of September of 1848 in Italy.

His father was named Francesco Conte and his mother Maria Antônia Rocca / LaRocca (We are not sure about her lastname).

He died in Brazil at 26th of January of 1924, in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil.

He married Luiza Delfina Vieira in 22th of May of 1882.

We don't know why he "abbandoned" the name Conte and the name Conti became the family's name.

He arrived in Rio de Janeiro and moved to Argentina. After that he went back to Brazil and stayed in Florianópolis, which is at the South of Brazil.

He has three brothers in Italy, all priest and he also was a priest when he lived in Italy. He didn't talked at all about his past back home. He was really upset about his situation.

Miguel Conti e Luiza had a couple of children, I don't know if this can help in any way, but I think that we may have some possibilities in here.

dezembro de 1959. Casou-se com Trajano Octaviani da Silva e teve os filhos: Nadir, João, Doralice, Desidério, Thiago, Pedro, Maria, Ciríaco, Onette, Ivo e José.
6 - Victor Conti nasceu em 1901 em Florianópolis. Ele faleceu em 30 de
junho de 1943 em Florianópolis, SC e foi enterrado no Cemitério do Itacorubi.
7 - Miguel Conti nasceu em 15/11/1893 e foi batizado em 5/12/1894 em Florianópolis.
8 -.Estevão Conte nasceu em 3/8/1896 e foi batizado em 24/abril/1897 em Florianópolis, SC.

Hi, you are very sure abt the Miguel(Michele)mother name?
I found a Michele CONTI son of Francesco and Rosa Maimone, born in Trecchina on 14 aug 1845 #36

... the midwife was Agnese La Rocca.. Also in same town exist Conte surname, but on the Birth record of this Michele, the surname is spelled Conti...
you can post here the church marriage record? You have it?
No rare to find the birthplace on the Church marriage... and you have the arrival record?
