Where do you live? Because my maternal great-grandmother's maiden name was Colletti and I live, and so did she live in Lockport, NY (near Buffalo,NY). I know that she was born in Sicily.

I haven't had a chance to look through all this list but here are the Collett* all going through Ellis Island. As you scroll down, you will see the name variations and those coming from various parts of Italy.

Here are the telephone listings for those still living in Italy with the surname

Collette

You can play witht he different variations by inserting the surnames you like to see where they come from.

If you like, give us more info on your family (like first names and birthyears, deathdates, siblings, children, etc and we can maybe look them up to see if we can find more out for you.

Hope this helps.
