Citizenship- is this legit?

Post by gemellua »

A friend sent this email to me. Has anyone heard of this organization? Is it legal? Thank you!

Independence day is when we celebrate being a US citizen and all the wonderful things that this country has to offer. But, have you ever considered the advantages of being a dual citizen?

Here are some of the main reasons people consider dual Italian citizenship:

The ability to purchase property in Italy or another EU country quickly and easily
The right to work, with some hiring preferences, inside the EU
Unrestricted travel throughout Italy and the European Union
Additional consular and legal protections
No compulsory military service
Access to high-quality education at a very low cost
Receive high-quality, affordable medical care
Qualify for additional financial benefits
The right to vote in Italian elections
Gain access to 127 countries without additional work or travel visas
Gain automatic citizenship and access to the Italian citizenship benefits for your children

If you start your application below any time this July, we will give you a complimentary $500 off of your citizenship application*.

I don’t know about this specific company, but there are many organizations out there who will help you in your quest to obtain Italian citizenship IF YOU QUALIFY for recognition.

If you do indeed qualify, the odds are you can do it on your own without a company to assist you. You may need some help in obtaining certain records; and, of course, if yours is a 1948 case, you will need a lawyer, but otherwise you can do most of it yourself.

If you don’t qualify for jure sanguinis recognition, no company can help you.

The company looks good but understand it is located in America and would have to hire an Italian based lawyer for a 1948 case, or even a local case if you can't get an appointment within 2 years at the Consulate.
