OK I did a quick check and none iof the family appear in the Ellis Island records so presumably they came in thru Philadelphia or Boston. Get down to basics and do the following file form 81 passenger arrival record thru NARAS. Go to www.genealogylookups.com/narchives.htm for arrival records. remember that wife Rosa entered the USA in her maiden name since Italian woman never lose their identity and the children take on the fathers name. Next you have to find the town of origin which Form 81 will give you. I tried to come up with a sounds like name and even that doesn\'t work.Is there any porovince that you can tell me which will give me a clue as to the town that they came from?????Look over the town name again from somewhere, a photograph or a letter perhaps anything with a name of the town or province...even what dialect they spoke,if any will do. I did another quick check and the Taormina came into Phildelphia on July 26, 1909 which means they came into the USA at that port. If you are in a hurry go to the nearest Mormon Family History Library and request NARA microfilm#T526-11 which corresponds to the Morn church microfilm#1380267. You can ask the library attendant to verify this FHL # since they used a soundex system and I may be wrong. Once you get their entry data from the miucrofilm the name of the town will be there. Call them up on the telephone nearest your home in Virginia. Peter
