Hello John,

Looking closely at the record, I believe the date is the 31st of August, not the 21st. Look at the "v" in Francescantonio's age "ventisei" - I believe the date of this record says "trentuno"

I also believe that Francescantonio's father is deceased because of the use of "quondam" - meaning "the late"...

John this image is very hard to read, its scrambled... you may want to take it to a local college for them to examine under a microscope. I could only read where it says figlio which is child sorry i wish i could have been more help moonlightskywriter
