Late Birth Registrations

Post by Fugie »

I have a copy of grandmother's late birth registration but having a difficult time transcribing it.

I know there are samples of birth, death and marriage acts; but, are there any sample of a late birth registration?

I tried to attach the document but received a message that the file size is too large. Trying to figure out how to make it smaller.

Sometimes cropping your record will lower the resolution

Instead of making it smaller, try posting it using an image-sharing site like www.postimage.org

Then copy and paste the "URL for Thumbnails for Forum1" here.
It will allow us to magnify the image.

The image is tiny and I don't actually think that it is the complete record. It looks like it might be the last few lines of a record.

Can you repost using Tessa's instructions in the previous post or even better if you have the link to the image just post that. It is easier all round if you do that. (Just right click on the address bar, click on copy, and then paste here - i.e. if you have the link.) Good luck. :)
